The story
A compact 9'-0" x 5'-0" contemporary modular kitchen designed and executed in New Delhi, balancing functionality, storage and refined aesthetics within a limited footprint. The compact L-shaped layout keeps the design clean, minimalistic and functional while delivering a premium residential aesthetic.
The 90 sq. ft. woodwork package pairs a glossy acrylic laminate finish — off-white/beige with natural wood accents — across glossy white upper cabinets and glossy beige base cabinets. Wood-finish open niches and a glass-shuttered display cabinet with aluminium framing are fitted with integrated lighting, set against an off-white countertop and a light-toned, brick-effect textured backsplash.
Warm LED profile lighting runs below the cabinets, inside the open niches and through the display units, while built-in appliances — microwave, gas hob and chimney — sit alongside dedicated pull-outs, full-height storage, drawer units, corner storage and crockery/display storage for cutlery, thali, grain, pulse and dry-vegetable needs. Completed in August 2025, the project delivered maximum storage and functionality within a compact kitchen footprint while keeping the space visually light and premium.
