The story
This villa had good bones but a dark, closed entrance. We rebuilt the arrival sequence around a new timber-slatted canopy on slender posts, drawing visitors past a lush, lit planter to a glass entrance lobby.
The old plastered walls were re-clad in split-face grey stone, with slim wall washers that bring out their texture at night. A vertical timber screen gives the lobby privacy without blocking light.
Inside, we reworked the plan to connect the living spaces to the garden and upgraded the services, glazing and finishes throughout.
